The Atlantic published on Wednesday the full text thread of the Trump administration signal group that accidentally included an outstanding journalist in discussions about pending American military strikes.

Jeffrey Goldberg, the chief editor of the Atlantic, had retained some of the thread contents in his bomb report on Monday revealing that he had fallen to plans to carry out attacks against Houthi’s objectives in Yemen.

Goldberg pointed out in that report that some of the texts contained information that “it could have been used to damage American military and intelligence personnel,” if they had been read by an American adversary.

But Goldberg and his environment decided to publish the complete texts after President Donald Trump and others in the group chat declared on Tuesday that none of the messages were classified, and said they did not contain “war plans”, as the initial head of the Atlantic declared.

The texts of the “small group of the Houthi PC” published on Wednesday morning are not written, except for the name of an intelligence officer of the CIA, said the Atlantic.

The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, in an X Post, found himself in the decision of the magazine to describe the thread as “attack plans”, instead of war plans, in his last holder.

“The Atlantic has granted: these were not war plans,” Leavitt wrote.

“This whole story was another deception written by a Trump enemy who is known for his sensationalist turn.”

Goldberg responded directly later on Wednesday morning: “I don’t even know what that means … what are they arguing, that an attack is different from a war?”

“She is playing a kind of strange semantic game,” he said in a MSNBC interview.

The Trump administration itself has confirmed the veracity of the signal group.

The director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and the director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, who was included in it, said in the testimony of the Senate on Tuesday that the texts were not classified. Later, Trump said the same thing: “It was not classified information.”

The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegesh, said Monday: “No one was sending text messages to war plans. And that is all I have to say about it.”

Trump National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, who, according to the reports, invited Goldberg to the group, suggested in comments on Tuesday that somehow the journalist may have “deliberately.”

Waltz did not provide evidence of the statement, but said in a Fox News interview that he discussed the matter with Elon Musk, adding: “We have the best technical minds looking at how this happened.”

Trump, Waltz, Leavitt and others have splashed their comments with personal attacks against Goldberg.

Goldberg wrote on Wednesday that Trump’s statements and his officials “have led us to believe that people should see the texts to reach their own conclusions.”

“There is a clear public interest in revealing the type of information that Trump’s advisors included in the non -guaranteed communications channels, especially because the figures of the senior administration are trying to minimize the importance of the messages that were shared,” he wrote.

Recently revealed texts show Hegseth sharing operational details about Houthi attacks pending approximately two hours before the first strike occurred on March 15.

He gave the group, which included Goldberg, information about the time of attacks and weapons that will be used, writing:

Team update:

Time now (1144et): The weather is favorable. I just confirmed that W/Centcom are a launch of the mission.

1215et: F-18 launch (first strike package)

1345: The first strike window “based on the trigger” begins (Target Terrorist is in its known location, so it should be on time, also, the launch of Strike Drones (MQ-9S)

1410: More F-18 launch (2nd strike package)

1415: Strike drones in the objective (it is when the first bombs will definitely fall, waiting for objectives “based on the trigger” previous)

1536 F-18 Straiga begins, he also launched First Seahawks.

Goldberg on Wednesday’s report wrote: “If this text had been received by someone hostile to US interests, or someone simply indiscreet, and with access to social networks, the hutis would have had time to prepare for what was destined to be a surprise attack in their strengths.”

“The consequences for American pilots could have been catastrophic,” he wrote.

Vice President JD Vance, who was also in the thread of the signal, wrote in X after the texts were published: “It is very clear that Goldberg unveiled what he had.”

Democrats have reacted to Atlantic reports with furious outrage. Sens. Mark Warner, D-V., And Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., They have asked Hegseth to resign.

“This is what happens when you put people not qualified in important jobs where lives are at stake,” Kelly said in a statement.

Trump suggested on Tuesday that no one would be fired for using Signal to discuss attack plans, or by erroneously adding Goldberg to sensitive discussions.

“We have investigated it,” he said.
