Decentralized favored by most Americans: dcg survey

Almost three quarters of the Americans surveyed believe that it is more likely that decentralized artificial intelligence will be more likely to support innovation and progress on a centralized counterpart, according to a Harris survey in charge of the digital cryptographic firm Currency Group (DCG).

The results of the 18 -year -old American survey of 18 years and more released on May 29 found that 56% favored the decentralized AI, and 77% saw a decentralized AI “as more beneficial for society in general.”

In particular, 67% of respondents said that centralized AI is probably more partial, and 63% said they believe that centralized AI is more likely to benefit large technological companies than in the average person and that it is more likely to misuse user data.

Decentralized AI wins traction

On May 5, the CEO of Tether, Paolo Ardoino, announced that the stablecoin sender would soon launch an AI platform that will have integrated support for the USDT and BTC payments of Tether.

Earlier this month, Thinkagents.AI, an AI agent protocol, launched a new open source frame to build chain agents that operate autonomously in decentralized networks. More than 70 cryptographic companies, including Yuga Labs and Magic Eden, have adopted the protocol.
