Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran reserves all the options to defend his sovereignty and people after the “scandalous” attacks of the United States against three main nuclear enrichment facilities in the country of the Middle East.

Iran also launched its twenty wave of missile and drone attacks against Israeli military objectives, according to Iran’s state media. Israel’s defense forces reported Sunday that the sirens rang due to Iranian offensives and added that their own missile offensives in western Iran had begun.

The two regional enemies have been exchanging attacks since Israel’s surprise attack against Iran last week.

Tehran’s response occurs after the United States made a direct military attack against Iran for the first time, a movement that has dramatically increased geopolitical tensions in the already volatile region.

Araghchi said on social networks that the attacks of the United States aimed at the nuclear sites of Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan would have “eternal consequences”, and added that “each member of the United Nations must be alarmed by this extremely dangerous behavior, without law and criminal.”

“According to the UN letter and its provisions that allow a legitimate response in self -defense, they will reserve all the options to defend their sovereignty, interest and people,” Araghchi said in X.

Going to La Nación on Saturday night, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said the attacks in three of Iran’s nuclear sites were a “spectacular military success” that “completely destroyed” the key enrichment facilities of the country.

The claim of the president of the United States on the result of the operation could not be confirmed independently. The International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran’s Nuclear Safety Center had not reported radiation or pollution in nuclear centers after attacks, from Sunday morning in London.

“There will be peace, or there will be a tragedy to Iran much greater than we have witnessed in the last eight days. Remember, many goals are,” Trump said.

Israel welcomed Trump’s intervention in the conflict. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Trump’s “bold decision will change the story.”
