I'd like to see just the lcd and controller for sale to add on to existing cases. I dismantled an old laptop monitor and I got a controller for it and almost had a functional window like this (but smaller) and something went wrong and I ended up just getting vertical lines. I had it completely disassembled and producing a picture for a while though. I guess maybe I was too rough with something… anyways a durable LCD w/o a backlight and controller for a reasonable price would be nice to make this an easy mod.

does the interior "need" to be white? would just a very well lit interior work? I've never in all my years owned a white pc case.

Now do you have to buy the case and panel separately or is it the case with the panel for $250?
