If I'm a part of the team I'll encourage them to make a built in projector on iphone and start building Apple VR and they should name it "I VR", with tons of vr apps from the I VR Store. Not a wireless earbuds like this that cost $159 super expensive and totally useless.

I'm pretty sure this runs on Bluetooth. The question is whether the proximity pairing is NFC and Apple finally opening their nfc chip to anything other than Apple Pay.

It's Apple.. what can you say!!

Just give me your wallet and shut up.. LOL truly crap this one.

LMAO you can't make this stuff up. Apple will sell a $20 strap that connects to your $160 dollar wireless airpods.

This is comical. I'm waiting for the hate iSheep. Tell me how this makes sense and worth every penny. And then tell me how Samsung sucks and I can't allegedly afford an iPhone so I should stop "hating".

Basically you saying everything to dance around this being a joke of an offering.

Do these wireless AirPods fall off easily? Can we listen to them for runs?

$160 for a pair EarPods, I better hear the missing 18 minutes of the Watergate tapes.

I'm positively sure apple pricing department is comprised solely of former Beats member.

so….now i have to open a box that looks like dental floss, hit connect, WAIT, then remove the Airpods and use them?
As opposed to, i dont know just plugging in a pair of 3.5mm earphones and just using them? This all feels needlessly complicated with little to no benefits.

It would be a little bit more justified if Apple got rid of the headphone jack and included these with the iPhone 7 and 7+ instead but selling it separately at such a high price is ridiculous!

• September 15, 2016 at 5:30 am

Samsung famboys making fun of the price forget that samsung has smaller wireless earpods for 199$ with either 1 hours or 4 hours of battery life

• September 16, 2016 at 2:01 pm

Hey it's Apple brand anyways so spend your money on it

i am very skeptical of everything apple makes and heres my opinion….. theyre actually a lot nicer than i expected. theyre not just a garbage piece of trash. the way they connect and disconnect from your phone is actually pretty cool. the case that theyre in, the way they charge, all quality.

heres the thing – if they were $50 (or if they still came with the phone, which they should…), id probably get them.
BUT $159???!!!! RIP OFF. i could get a much nicer sounding pair of bose headphjones for the same price. i wouldnt in my wildest dreams flush $159 down the toilet for these.

nice work apple, but not so nice…

I might get it if it's compatible with other devices

glad that Samsung, LG, Asus, HTC and Google device's are crushing Crapple poor quality remains

you guys complaining about the price, but here in Brazil, it will cost around 1,4k reais (like 430 dollars)

This is going to be so annoying for a bunch of different reasons (such as having no jack for speakers without blue-tooth, using it with the car stereo in older cars where you can usually use AUX, etc), but the most annoying thing for me personally, is that there are often days where I spend over 6 hours listening through my headphones, which is now not going to work when they run out of battery and I have to put them in a tiny box to charge them.

What happened if you lose the other airbod? Or you put in your bag, at an inside pocket, somehow it fell off and you'll need to dig it, what a hassle. Not good for disorganize person, who are much preoccupied doing important things than thinking if all the airbods and charger are complete and in safe place. Also somehow inconvenient that you need to charge for it to work.

Haters gonna hate great devices… Haters always wants to "just" do their jobs with their products, without the magic, without care for the small little details that makes a product special and simple at the same time, making it more "even" than the others, like these AirPods are.
These, are haters.

Btw, I read that AirPods will have better sound quality than the EarPods, especially at the mids.

Expensive ,easy to lose, 50 range, moderate audio quality. My Arctic Sound head phones blue tooth range 150 ft- 200ft , very good audio quality. last for years of use. Next track, back one track, volume up and down and big button to answer call. Price? 19.95 dollars. Yep under 20 bucks buy 5. lose one who cares

It’s crazy how biased people are. Google released their pixel buds which are literally similar to these earbuds and yet on their video they have almost no hate comments
