People spend $300-$400 on a Bluetooth speaker, so what's the big deal about the price?

Back in my day if you didn't like how something was priced, you just didn't buy it. These days you go on the Internet and bitch about it

Almost 300 dollars for a thin Kindle? You think Jeff would have learned his lesson with the Fire OS phone. Well, if you must have one, just wait a couple months since they'll eventually be reduced to around 150 or so.

Bridget I could not disagree with you more about the Oasis let's break down the REAL prices. The Oasis comes with a very premium leather case, crazy extra battery power, and better lighting. Price for Oasis with wifi and 3G with offers is $359.99.
Now compare it to the Voyage WITH the accessories to match up to the Oasis. The Voyage with wifi and 3G with offers costs 299.97. Now add the official Amazon leather origami case for 59.99. Then add an Amazon potable power device (which I'm sure is inferior to the extra power of the oasis). Which costs 39.99. Which brings the price up to$299.97. So the Oasis is superior and only costs ? $60 more. And as someone who reads for hours at a time and gets headaches from tablets with backlit screens the Oasis actually has a reasonable price. The only drawback is I ordered the Merlot Oasis with 3G and without offers and because there is a back order already I am sad that I have to wait until Sept for it to arrive. But I know it is worth wait!

amazon are psycho.all they do is make a very thin kindle and slap 300
back to it and think people will fall for it .no new features no new
tech ? big FAIL!They can shelve it where they shelved the amazon phone!
