The menu element is part of the broader thrust of McDonald’s beyond beef in chicken. The success of restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes, Raising Cane’s and Dave’s Hot Chickn have made Chicken a category of rapid growing restaurants in recent years.
The return of McDonald’s Snack Wraps could light the next stage in the so -called chicken wars. Restaurant Brands International Popeyes announced on Monday his own shot with his “generous chicken wrappers”, wrapped in an omelet inspired by his cookies and available for a limited time.
