Talking about cameras and shoot a video like this. Totally not in focus on the speaker. Oh, the irony.

You're always going to miss something watching a video in 360. Movies will never be made this way, it's not effective story telling.

I guess the battery isn´t (much) bigger than the batteries in a Go Pro.
Therefore this camera might have a terrible battery life because it captures TWO 4k Videos simultaneously instead of just one and even the battery life of Go Pros Hero 4 Black edition isn´t that great when filming in 4k.

Are you sure no one has done this yet? How about Kodak SP360? The only difference I can notice for now is Nikon KeyMission 360 offers 4K but Kodak SP360 only HD. Both are action 360 camera.

Nikon is adjusting to todays technology and craze. They probably feel like they've gotta move on and probably feel ordinary digital cams is dying and SLRs isnt going any bigger than it is today. Way to go Nikon! First device of this kind!

I can not wait to get my hands on that rascal!!! BUT, Nikon has announced many new items in the past, that never made it to the retail counter… they still didn't release their wireless mic system that was to release over a year ago… BUT, I do hope this lives up to the hype.. I'm IN…. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

I would love to record in 360 and use the footage for non 360 videos. This way you can get a tons of exciting angles without caring about the direction the camera is pointing at. Hope Nikon puts out a software to do this this way.
