Monthly data released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Friday revealed that Housing Starts rose 1.9% month-on-month in October, following a 3.1% increase (revised from 7%) recorded in September.
Building permits rose 1.1% over the same period, after falling 4.5% in September.

United States Dollar index it showed no immediate reaction to these numbers and last traded slightly above 104.00 in its daily range.
