The White House has apparently drawn the nomination of the NASA administrator, Jared Isaacman, and said President Donald Trump would soon appoint a replacement.

The White House did not explain the movement in a statement, but the spokeswoman of the White House, Liz Huston, said that “it is essential that the next NASA leader is in total alignment with the first agenda of America of President Trump.”

Trump said in December that he was nominating Isaacman, a billionaire businessman who has never been in the federal government, as NASA administrator.

Isaacman has been in space twice, in commercial missions he financed.

“The NASA administrator will help bring humanity to space and execute the bold mission of President Trump to plant the US flag on planet Mars,” Huston said in a statement.

“It is essential that the next NASA leader is in total alignment with the first Amazon of America of President Trump and that President Trump directly announce a replacement directly,” he said.

The media Semafor first reported on Saturday that the White House was expected to press Isaacman’s nomination.

The measure occurs when the nomination vote for Isaacman could have been very close. A motion of sewage over its nomination, which ends the debate, is eligible for a vote on Monday, according to a Congress calendar.
