XRP ETFs Listed on DTCC Ahead of Possible Launch

Excitement in the crypto community is growing over the possible launch of XRP funds, as the US Senate moves forward on a deal aimed at ending the longest government shutdown in history.

The Senate reportedly reached an agreement on a budget bill to end the government shutdown on Sunday, sending a bullish signal to numerous markets, including crypto.

The XRP (XRP) community anticipates the launch of multiple XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) soon, with several of them already listed on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website ahead of a possible launch this month.

The price of XRP is up more than 12% on bullish news in the past 24 hours, and the token is trading at $2.56 at press time, according to CoinGecko.

Although a listing on DTCC does not equate to an actual launch and does not guarantee regulatory approval, it indicates that the ETF infrastructure is ready for trading in US markets.

It is worth noting that Grayscale’s XRP Trust (GXRP) has not yet appeared on the DTCC website, nor does the listing currently include a WisdomTree XRP fund.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas also posted on X on Sunday, noting that “the shutdown is over” and highlighting a subsequent rally in US stock futures.

“The SEC had open litigation against Ripple for the past five years, until three months ago. In my opinion, the launch of the XRP spot ETF represents the final nail in the coffin of the previous wave of anti-crypto regulators,” he wrote in an X post on November 2.

He also highlighted a post from Canary Capital, which stated last Friday that its XRP ETF is “coming soon,” speculating that the product could be available later this week.
